WELCOME TO

Lifeline Apostolic Church

We are a unique church with a powerful message that works in a chaotic world.

Please allow us to explain what we mean in our "Welcome!" blog post by Pastor James Owens: Welcome!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • Repentance is commanded by God (Acts 17:30). The Greek word for repentance means a change of mind, lifestyle, and purpose. Jesus emphatically stated, "Except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish" (Luke 13:3).
  • Baptism in Jesus' name is necessary for salvation (Acts 2:38). The scriptural formula for baptism was always "in the name of Jesus" (Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5).
  • Jesus said you must be "born of the Spirit" to enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:5). Scriptural belief should be accompanied by receiving the Spirit (John 7:38-39). The evidence of having received the gift of the Holy Ghost is speaking with tongues (Acts 2:4, 10:46).
  • There is only one God (Deut 6:4) - the Father Who is a spirit (John 4:24), Who was manifest in the flesh as Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 3:16), Who now dwells in the hearts of His children as the Holy Ghost (John 14:18,26). The fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus (Colossians 2:9)
  • A lifestyle of holiness is commanded in the Scripture (Hebrews 12:14, Titus 2:11-12, 1 Peter 1:15-19, 2:21-23)
